NEIA and its partners are recruiting for an Atlantic Canadian delegation to attend WINDEUROPE SUMMIT and WINDENERGY HAMBURG GLOBAL EXPO on 27-30 September, 2016 in Hamburg, Germany.

WindEurope (formerly European Wind Energy Association/EWEA) and WindEnergy Hamburg have teamed up to create a unique global gathering for wind energy combining the world’s leading trade fair and the largest conference in the industry.

The entire wind industry and research community will gather under one roof for a comprehensive three-day conference in a platform where industry meets research, onshore meets offshore and the entire supply chain is brought together.

Since the first edition of ‘EWEC’ in 1984, the WindEurope Summit has secured its position as the leading gathering of the wind industry in Europe, featuring policy and market developments as well as the latest technical and scientific advances selected via peer-review.

The WindEurope Summit 2016 will explore the potential paths that European and international markets can go down as we look further beyond 2020. The event will offer delegates the opportunity to engage directly with wind energy experts and to participate in topical conference sessions, on topics such as turbine technology, resource assessment, O&M and supply chain among others.

In 2016, the WindEurope Summit will include:

  • An international political summit
  • Its renowned technical & scientific programme produced in collaboration with the European Academy of Wind Energy
  • Cutting-edge scientific poster presentations
  • Powerful matchmaking activities
  • High-level networking opportunities
