When the Canada-EU Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) is ratified, Atlantic Canadian businesses will have new opportunities in the European Union, one of the largest markets in the world.
But research carried out by the Atlantic Provinces Economic Council (APEC) shows the EU market is complex and Atlantic exporters will need to do their homework to understand and manage the risks of entering the market.
On January 26 at 10 a.m. (AST) APEC’s Senior Economist David Chaundy will host a one hour webinar for Atlantic business leaders highlighting the opportunities for local firms and proven strategies for success.
The session will explain why businesses should consider the EU, detail key features of the EU that business leaders need to understand, and highlight specific opportunities for regional manufacturers. He will also share the “lessons learned” from seasoned Atlantic exporters who are already doing business in the EU.
This is a must attend webinar for any business person in Atlantic Canada wondering about exporting opportunities for their company.
