This Week's Highlights

Trade Mission: All-Energy Exhibition and Conference, May 6-7, 2015, Glasgow, UK

NOTE: This opportunity has expired or is an event which has already taken place.

Taking place in Glasgow, Scotland on May 6-7, 2015, All-Energy is one of Europe’s largest renewable energy events. Now being held in Glasgow at the SECC, All-Energy is a conference and trade show focusing on all aspects of the renewable energy sector; including tidal, biofuels, hydrogen, wind, solar and carbon capture. Click here to visit the conference website.

The 2014 conference was a big success and attracted more than 6800 delegates; the trade show had over 450 exhibitors from 19 countries, with over 400 speakers taking part in 95+ hours of conference and seminar sessions.

The Maritimes Energy Association is the lead organizer for a pan-Atlantic trade mission to Glasgow, Scotland from May 6 – 7, 2015, to coincide with All-Energy 2015. The mission is supported through the Canada – Atlantic Provinces Agreement on International Business Development (IBDA). The IBDA is a federal-provincial agreement between the Government of Canada (ACOA, Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada and Industry Canada) and the four provincial governments in Atlantic Canada.

Who should consider attending All-Energy 2015?

Companies and Institutions involved in:

  • Renewable energy production
  • Research and development of renewable energy solutions
  • Supply and service companies interested in broadening their portfolio of energy related customers
  • Engineering firms and consultants interested in renewable energy solutions.

The Mission program will include:

Atlantic Canada Booth – We have reserved booth space in the exhibit area to highlight the capabilities of Atlantic Canadian companies interested in this mission. Trade Mission participants can display company information in the booth and use this space to host meetings with potential partners and clients.

Matchmaker – In addition to utilizing the booth space, we offer the services of a “matchmaker” who will work to identify the goods and services you offer and connect you with potential partners and clients, and set up meetings. They will identify and facilitate networking opportunities through company briefings and potential networking events.

Networking opportunities – We work to identify possible receptions and networking opportunities that the Atlantic Canada delegation can attend.

Potential site visits – We work with the matchmaker to arrange visits to energy company offices located in the area.
