This Week's Highlights

Does your firm have the potential to enter the US offshore wind supply chain? Participate in this survey to help inform future strategies.

NOTE: This opportunity has expired or is an event which has already taken place.

Power Advisory has been contracted by Marine Renewables Canada (MRC) in conjunction with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), and the Nova Scotia Department of Energy and Mines, to conduct a study, ascertaining the realistic commercial opportunities for Canadian firms in the US offshore wind development market and align those with the capacity and competitive capabilities of the Atlantic Canadian service and supply chain.

As part of this study MRC is inviting all sector stakeholders to participate in a short online survey to provide valuable information about the competitive position of Atlantic Canada firms and potential opportunities and/or obstacles that they may face US when entering the US offshore wind development market.

One challenge with such a survey is that it focuses on a business opportunity that is by no means well defined. Understandably this makes it harder for prospective suppliers in Atlantic Canada to assess their competitive position relative to the nascent US supply chain. MRC recommends that survey participants employ the best judgment based on their existing competitive position in comparable markets.

This survey is collecting data for informative purpose only, no responses will be attributed directly to you or your members. All data collected will be tabulated in its raw form only, this applies to both quantitative and qualitative data. None of your contact data will be shared with organisations other than those contractual engaged herein and data will be stored in accordance with Canadian data and privacy legislation.

The survey has an estimated completion time of 13 minutes.

Prior to completing the survey, MRC encourages you to kindly read the Offshore Wind Sector Backgrounder for some key facts and additional insight into the sector .

When you are ready to conduct the survey, please click on this link to begin – MRC US OSW Opportunities Survey.

The deadline for participation is Friday, June 28th, 2019.
