SPEAKER SERIES: Co-Op students and how they can add value to your business
NOTE: This opportunity has expired or is an event which has already taken place.
Businesses in the environmental sector have the opportunity to increase their outputs, acquire energy and expertise in specific operational areas, and build connections within the university community by employing a co-op student for a semester.
Why hire a co-op student? What kind of impact can a student make on your Business? What areas of study/expertise can you choose your student from? What will your student’s objectives be? What is your expected contribution to the partnership?
These are all questions that will be answered by Dr. Peter Rans, Director of Co-Op Education, and Rebecca Newhook, Co-operative Education Coordinator from Memorial University.
Where: NEIA’s Board Room, 90 O’Leary Avenue, St. John’s, NL
When: Thursday, April 11
Time: 9:00 a.m.
Cost: FREE
Our Speaker Series events are free but, as always, we will be accepting donations at the door to the Charlie Riggs and Cathy Macdonald Riggs Memorial Award established by AMEC Earth & Environmental.
