NEIA with its partners is presenting a workshop on February 24th on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Unmanned Aerial Systems in the Natural Resources Sectors in Corner Brook. Themes for the workshop include the application of these technologies as they relate to: forestry; agriculture; energy; wildlife management / ecology; environmental monitoring; and GIS / mapping.

In partnership with the Norwegian Oil Spill Control Association and Innovation Norway, NEIA presents the Oil Spill Response Technology Seminar on May 27th and 28th. The seminar includes presentations on subjects specific to oil spill response, including environmental monitoring systems, mechanical recovery options, in-situ burning, and more. The event also includes product demonstrations at the Marine Institute’s Holyrood Marine Base.
