The sustainability of our natural environment and the success of our cities and towns are inextricably linked. To launch the 15th year of our speakers series St. John’s City Councillor Ian Froude will discuss the significant impact communities have on our natural environment and present ideas for solutions to the challenges our communities face, including climate change, cities as habitats, transportation, waste management, and land use.
This talk will take place 12:30 to 1:20pm, Monday, September 23rd in room 3019 of the Forest Centre, Grenfell Campus, Corner Brook. As with all our Coastal Matters presentations this session is free of charge and open to the public. RSVP’s not required. Tea and coffee will be available; feel free to bring your own bagged lunch.
