Preliminary recruiting for the Atlantic Canada Building Products Pavilion at the International Builders Show (IBS), January 19-21, 2016

NOTE: This opportunity has expired or is an event which has already taken place.

Dear Atlantic Canada building products companies,

We’re building momentum in the United States market at IBS

Building on the success and momentum of IBS 2015, preliminary recruiting is now underway for the Atlantic Canada Building Products Pavilion at the International Builders Show (IBS), January 19-21, 2016 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS) is the largest annual light construction show in the world. Building on the success and momentum of IBS 2015, preliminary recruiting is now underway for the Atlantic Canada Building Products Pavilion at IBS.

IBS is now co-located with the Kitchen & Bath Show. It involves over 1,700 exhibitors & attracts over 75,000 professionals & decision-makers from all aspects of the building industry including architects, home builders, developers, interior designers, wholesalers, agents & distributors across the globe.

Expanded Atlantic Pavilion…

The 2016 Atlantic Canada Building Products Pavilion will be back in the same high profile location as last year in the IBS Central Hall. The Pavilion has been expanded by 30% with a new open design to accommodate more companies and to showcase more building products to support the selling efforts of exhibiting companies. The Atlantic Pavilion also incorporates overhead signage leveraging the Canada flag to attract more attendee interest. The Canadian dollar is currently a very attractive selling feature for selling building products to the US market.

The 2016 Atlantic Pavilion will be an exceptional turn-key opportunity for you to showcase product in the leading building products trade show in the United States. Exhibit space is at a premium. Exhibitor selection will be on a first-come, first served basis, with confirmation checks required (checks can be post-dated to January 2016). The Pavilion will support companies from New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island.

This is an excellent time to consider growing export sales in the United States!

The US economy is back in a major growth mode. US housing starts are on the rise. Lumber exports are in overdrive. With an attractive Canadian dollar, IBS 2016 is a perfect opportunity for Atlantic building and construction product companies to leverage the Atlantic Pavilion to launch or expand exports effort to the United States. For a current guide on navigating the US market, see Export Development Corporation (EDC) at http://www.edc.ca/EN/Promotions/us-guide/Pages/default.aspx.
