Ocean Frontier Institute Phase Two Questionnaire and Workshop Registration
NOTE: This opportunity has expired or is an event which has already taken place.

To help prepare for the next phase of research, the Ocean Frontier Institute (OFI, http://oceanfrontierinstitute.com) is planning a series of consultations, beginning with this questionnaire
The Ocean Frontier Institute (OFI) was established in September 2016 through a partnership led by Dalhousie University, Memorial University of Newfoundland and the University of Prince Edward Island. An international hub for ocean research, OFI brings together experts from both sides of the North Atlantic to explore the vast potential of the ocean.
OFI’s ocean research focuses on: (1) changes — research examines key aspects of atmosphere-ocean interaction, resulting ocean dynamics, and shifting ecosystems, and (2) Solutions — research focuses on effective approaches to resource development that are sustainable, globally competitive, societally acceptable and resilient to change
This survey will be followed by an in-person workshop on September 10th at Dalhousie University, repeated on September 21st at Memorial University. The questionnaire and these workshops will inform the final workshop on October 12th in St. John’s, Newfoundland, taking place in association with the OFI conference. You do not need to register for the OFI conference to attend the workshop on October 12th.
This consultation series is intended for:
- those currently involved in the OFI; and
- those who may become involved in the OFI in the future.
