Newfoundland & Labrador Environmental Awards – Nominations Open

NOTE: This opportunity has expired or is an event which has already taken place.

The Environmental Awards recognize individuals, community groups and businesses for their outstanding efforts and dedication to protect and enhance our environment.

Nominate a person or group in your community that has demonstrated dedication and commitment to sustaining, protecting and enhancing Newfoundland and Labrador’s environment.

There are six categories to choose from: Individual; Community Group or Organization; Youth, Youth Group or School; Municipality or Regional Waste Management Committee; Business or Industry Leader; and Lifetime Achievement.

The Environmental Awards ceremony will take place during Environment Week June 2 – 8. Up to six Newfoundland and Labradorians are recognized annually.

Award winners will be invited to attend a luncheon during Environment Week, June 2 – 8. The winner in each category will receive a $1000 honorarium from the Multi Materials Stewardship Board (MMSB) to be used to continue their environmental project.
