The Department of Business, Tourism, Culture and Rural Development (BTCRD) is now recruiting for a multi-sector, multi-city mission to Ireland that will accommodate a range of business interests and customized schedules. The Mission will offer a suite of trade support services including in-market research, business to business (B2B) matchmaking, high level contacts, networking opportunities and logistical support.
Technology and innovation investments, European Union (EU) investment and economic stabilization and growth of the Irish economy make Ireland a valued exceptional business jurisdiction with business and research partnership opportunities across many industrial sectors.
Ireland’s economy expanded by 5.2% last year in a recovery that is forecast to make it the fastest-growing economy in Europe for the second consecutive year. Growth in Ireland’s economy is now estimated to be in the 5-6% range for 2015. The upward revisions mean that the Irish economy is larger than it was at the height of the “Celtic Tiger” boom in 2007.
“It is quite clear that Ireland will easily top the Eurozone growth league table for the second year running,”
– Alan McQuaid, Merrion Stockbrokers’ chief economist.
Participation in this trade mission will be limited. To submit an expression of interest and for more information on the Irish opportunities, contact Allison Dancey at (709) 729-7053.
