From 27-28 October 2016, the Aerospace and Defence Industry Association of Newfoundland and Labrador (ADIANL) will hold its fourth annual MASS Conference (MASS16) at the St. John’s Convention Centre.
MASS16 will once again focus on the challenges associated with both northern and maritime environments. The aim of the Government of Canada and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador supported international conference is to promote stakeholder collaboration, technological innovation, harsh environment research & development, and world-class education efforts that are contributing to various components of northern development. Building on the success of MASS15 coupled with the growing demands across stakeholders concerning maritime and arctic safety and security issues, and for which one entity cannot achieve solutions or policy responses in isolation, we have selected “Converging Interests” as the theme for MASS16.
The two day conference will draw a diverse group of speakers and attendees representing government, military, Canadian and U.S. Coast Guard, industry, academic leaders, Northern Leaders, research and other key stakeholders; featuring prominent individuals with responsibility, direct involvement or connection to these sub-themes:
MASS16 will immediately follow the internationally-rotated Arctic Technology Conference (ATC) which is being held at the St. John’s Convention Centre from 24-26 October 2016.
