Process Engineer (Ref. No. 2018-12)

Brunswick Smelter requires a Process Engineer to be a key member of a team to ensure sustainable development compliances, optimization of plant production, decrease costs through rigorous monitoring of the operation and be accountable for assisting in the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives. You will perform and/or monitor tests in the plant as well as the technical laboratory. You will also perform analysis on plant operating data to draw conclusions and provide guidance to operators and supervisors accordingly.

As a process engineer, you must promote excellence in the workplace in achieving objectives including health and safety, quality control, and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate must possess an engineering degree (Chemical, Metalurgical, Process, or related field) with 0-5 years of relevant experience. High standards on safety, operational performance, environmental and quality assurance. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to foster continuous improvement and teamwork. Previous work experience in an industrial environment, Six Sigma, ISO 9001, MS Office and bilingualism (English/French), are considered assets.
