JOB OPPORTUNITY: Firewood Factory

Firewood Factory is looking for a full-time, seasonal employee to assist with loading and delivery of firewood, mulch and topsoil throughout the Northeast Avalon. Join the team!
DELIVERY DRIVER / HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
The ideal candidate would meet the following criteria:
- Familiar with operation of heavy equipment (tractors, crane/log grapple)
- Valid drivers license and good driving record
- Can confidently maneuver a truck with a trailer
- Can complete necessary paperwork for NL Forestry Branch for each delivery
- Familiar with loading and unloading of a dump trailer in a safe manner
- Comfortable collecting payment for goods delivered
- Friendly, personable and professional
- Able to work 7am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Can work independently with some supervision
- Places significant importance on following safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment for other employees
