JOB OPPORTUNITY: Electrical Engineering Technologist – RENL

Required Duties will include:

  • Assist in the design of Renewable Energy Systems.
  • Develop and install systems including Hybrid Battery Storage Systems, Solar Energy Systems and Ground Mount Racking.
  • Supervise the installation, commission and operation of electrical equipment and diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical assemblies and systems.
  • Must be available to travel for training and installations ( All Training costs will be provided)
  • Must have a Canadian Passport
  • Must have a clean driving abstract
  • Will be required to travel to remote areas for an extended period of time.

Key Competencies we are seeking in our team members:

  • Completion of Electrical Engineering Technician course.
  • Problem solving skills relating to troubleshooting equipment issues in a installation environment.
  • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Control systems (PLC)
  • Ability to effectively work with cross functional teams
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work conditions
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to work rotating shifts
  • Computer skills (Solar Design software, Excel, Word and others.)
