ISO 14001:2015 Overview (Exemplar)

Workshop Outline:
This competency-based two day workshop under the TPECS scheme provides an explanation of the ISO 14001 requirements and the design of a functional and effective environmental management system. An overview of the various ISO 14000 EMS Series is provided and a review of each element of ISO 14001 is given. Benefits and opportunities that can be gained from implementing an EMS are discussed as well as current national and international trends. Students gain knowledge through class tutorials, exercises, and open classroom discussions. Attendees who successfully demonstrate competence during this course will achieve a Certificate of Attainment for the following competency units: Exemplar Global-EM (Environmental management systems).
