NEIA’s Export and International Business Network is a group of firms in the environmental sector interested in or currently pursuing international business opportunities. The Network meets regularly to discuss international objective, hear from guest speakers with market expertise, give input on NEIA’s international initiatives, share experience and best practices, and network with other organizations pursuing business internationally (click here for more information).
Next Meeting
The next meeting of NEIA’s Export and International Business Network is on Friday, November 7 at 11:30am (Suite 207, 90 O’Leary Ave) and features guest speaker Tony Aggarwal, Director of Kinetic Cubed based in the UK.
Tony has some 30 years’ experience of business development. Following graduation, Tony set up his own Small manufacturing and distribution company, servicing retailers across the UK. This business he grew to £1m turnover. After 8 years at the helm, it was time for change. Following an MBA, Tony joined a US multi-national, where he was involved in international business development projects – joint ventures and M&A, mostly in Europe and also the emerging markets of the Eastern bloc / Former Soviet Union. Thereafter he moved into consulting, spending the past 15 years, working with business support organisations, helping their clients find new markets, across the globe.
Tony has been assisting Atlantic Canada organisations – SMEs and Universities, to explore new markets over the past 5 years. He is very familiar with the needs of organisations from Newfoundland, having researched and supported them on missions to the UK, Japan, Korea and even Canada!
Tony will be speaking about the practicalities of developing business for SMEs, with a focus on building sustainable exporting business models.
