Get funding for your local sustainability project through Partners for Places

NOTE: This opportunity has expired or is an event which has already taken place.

Partners for Places is a collaborative matching grant program that connects local governments with local funders to invest in sustainability projects. The program, funded by the Funders’ Network for Smart Growth and Livable Communities (TFN), builds relationships while creating opportunities for municipalities and regions in Canada and the United States to improve their communities.

Under the Partners for Places model, funding bodies match local investments in projects that promote a healthy environment, a strong economy and the well-being of all residents. The program provides partnership investments of between $25,000 and $75,000 for one-year projects, or $50,000 and $150,000 for two-year projects, with a 1:1 match required by one or more local foundations.

The Funders’ Network, in partnership with the Urban Sustainability Directors Network, is pleased to announce the opening of Round Eight of Partners for Places.

The application deadline for Round Eight is January 29, 2016.
