Find that high quality person (HQP) for your Organization
NOTE: This opportunity has expired or is an event which has already taken place.

One discussion firms express regular basis is their inability to find HQP for positions within their organizations. OceansAdvance and the Department of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour (AESL) are partnering and invite you to an information session on provincial skills training and immigration programs available to ocean technology sector employers.
AESL works with employers and collaborates with private post-secondary institutions, Memorial University and College of the North Atlantic to ensure the province has a skilled workforce and highly educated graduates to participate in and contribute to their communities.
The Department also provides supports to meet labour market demands, increase labour force participation, facilitate immigration, promote multiculturalism and support adult literacy to strengthen individual self-reliance. Such supports include immigration programs (i.e., the Provincial Nominee Program and the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program), grants to help organizations to train their employees, wage subsidies to help employers hire employees and an easy to use human resource toolkit.
So come join us for lunch on Thursday, November 30th from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. at the NRC -OCRE Building, 1 Arctic Ave, MUN Campus to learn how you can take advantage of these programs and fill those vacant positions.
Please RSVP to Kassandra Sharron no later than Monday, Nov 27th at kassandra.sharron@oceansadvance.net.
