This Week's Highlights

Earth Bound: The MMSB’s Organic Waste Management Conference, September 26-27, 2013, St. John’s, NL

NOTE: This opportunity has expired or is an event which has already taken place.

Earth Bound 2013 is MMSB’s premier organic waste management conference, gathering together the organics community in Newfoundland and Labrador to explore the potential of organic waste management and reduce the amount of organic waste entering our landfills.

This conference will bring together individuals, businesses, organic waste producers, organic waste managers, municipalities and government departments for educational and technical sessions, and an equipment and technology exhibition.

At Earth Bound 2013, you will learn how to overcome some of the issues we face in managing the organic waste in our province today. We’ll bring the experts to you – covering topics such as low-tech and high-tech solutions, options for municipal and industrial composting, policies and regulations, funding and partnership opportunities, and so much more.

You’ll meet like-minded people from across Newfoundland and Labrador who face similar challenges in organic waste management and learn together how we can all play a part in diverting waste from our landfills.
