“Save the Dates” on September 24 & 25, 2015 for the Cumberland Energy Authority’s 1st Annual Energy Symposium. This is a two-day FREE event showcasing Nova Scotia as an international leader in the green energy sector.
“The Cumberland Energy Authority is pleased to be the host for this fall’s Energy Symposium” said Authority Chair Rennie Bugley. “We have support and participation from government and sector leaders in geothermal, tidal, wind, and solar power energy”, stated the Chairman.
“We truly believe that renewable energy development in Cumberland County has the potential to create economic enterprise and help to keep our young citizens working right here in Cumberland. Our purpose is to make our Municipality a world leader in the development of renewable energy”, stated Bugley.
This event will bring together the green energy industry, government, the community, and academia. Keynote speakers and breakout sessions to be announced. Formal invitation to follow. These events are open to the public.
