Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum (CREF), October 6-8, 2014, Miami, FL
NOTE: This opportunity has expired or is an event which has already taken place.
In October 2014, New Energy Events will host the sixth annual Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum (CREF) in Miami, USA. This event attracts several Caribbean and international participants, including senior government officials and utility executives from several islands in the region, as well as regional developers and providers of capital. At CREF, information is disseminated on the regional energy market, renewable energy options for island states and investment in sustainable energy projects.
This year’s agenda is still being finalized, but CREF features several interactive panel discussions on the gamut of topics related to renewable and alternative energies. Topics including the impact of natural gas on the landscape for renewables, emerging technologies and their application in the Caribbean and how and why energy storage has a role on the Caribbean grid were covered in the past and this year’s event is expected to be equally diverse in terms of subject matter.
Canadian-focused events will be organised during the conference in order to highlight Canada’s superior renewable energy expertise.
