Canadian Consulate General in NY accepting applications for a Canadian Accelerator for Health Information and Communication Technology

The Canadian Consulate General in New York is accepting applications for a Canadian Accelerator for Health Information and Communication Technology based at the University City Science Center (The Port) in Philadelphia – CTA @ Philadelphia (Health IT) and requests that you notify interested clients and local accelerators/inncubators.

The CTA @ Philadelphia (Health IT) will focus on accelerating Canadian company’s utilizing health information technology, mobile communication devices and telemedicine in areas like patient engagement, overall wellness, prevention, and care management. In addition to client acquisition, the CTA @ Philadelphia (Health IT) will help clients with introductions to U.S. healthcare prospects (hospitals, Insurers, clinics, physician practices, etc.), connect clients to investor funding networks as well as providing exposure to mentors with significant experience in the Health IT sector.

Interested company’s should complete and return the application form (click here) by email to vincent.finn@international.gc.ca by Friday 26th, April. Selected company’s will be notified by Monday 29th, April.

Boot Camp for the CTA @ Philadelphia (Health IT) will commence on Wednesday 8th, May and program will run for three months.
