2021 Call for Presenters – Energy Tech Venture Forum

NOTE: This opportunity has expired or is an event which has already taken place.

The Canadian Consulate in Houston is looking for innovative Canadian companies interested to showcase their technologies by attending the Rice Alliance Energy Technology Venture Forum. Companies in the alternative/renewable sector industry and clean technologies in general are welcome to attend.

There are several reasons for a company to participate at this event:

  • Pitch to angel investors, venture capitalists, corporate innovation groups and industry leaders.
  • Connect with forum attendees at the Company Showcase and Networking Reception.
  • Meet 1-on-1 with venture capitalists, corporate investors and angel investors during Office Hours.
  • Showcase and extend your reach with customers, partners and the broader Houston ecosystem.
  • Opportunity to be recognized as one of the “Top 10 Most Promising Emerging Energy Ventures.”

This Forum is considered the premier energy tech venture capital conference to connect energy innovators, investors, corporations and the energy ecosystem. The Forum had over 750+ attendees and an impressive list of investor and corporates in 2019 and it’s expected that there will be a similar participation in 2021.

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY 5:00 PM (CST) ON THURSDAY, JULY 16, 2021.

Application process:

This is a highly competitive event. Notifying us will increase considerably your chances of being selected to present.

Company submissions will be evaluated by a panel of technology experts within the industry. After evaluation, Rice will select the companies that will present at the Forum. Selected companies will be notify the first week of August. There is no cost for Canadian companies to apply or to present
