WEBINAR(S): Wastewater best practices, strategies and solutions workshop

NOTE: This opportunity has expired or is an event which has already taken place.

If you are a small or medium-sized municipality that is building or upgrading your wastewater facility, sign up for the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ (FCM) free wastewater online workshop.

This three-part online workshop takes place from February 2 to March 2, 2017.

You’ll discover successful strategies and solutions to implement your wastewater projects. You’ll also learn best practices to help your municipality comply with the 2012 Wastewater Systems Effluent Regulations.

During the sessions, you’ll learn how to:

  • Create and deliver successful proposals and projects for wastewater treatment plants.
  • Apply project management best practices, including project scoping, planning, design, procurement, construction and operations.
  • Work with and gain support from a multidisciplinary team and local stakeholders to improve your project.

How it works

This online workshop is a series of three interactive, two-hour sessions, scheduled every two weeks. Your registration includes attendance at all three sessions.

Who should attend

Elected officials and staff with all levels of experience in wastewater projects from small and medium-sized municipalities can attend.
