Three tips to help you apply for Green Municipal Fund (GMF) funding by August 1

NOTE: This opportunity has expired or is an event which has already taken place.

There is still time to apply for funding for energy, transportation, waste and water capital projects through FCM’s Green Municipal Fund — the next deadline is August 1. Start your application process by completing an Initial Review Form, available the FCM website.

Here are three tips to help you create a successful application and increase the chances of getting your project funded:

  • Contact a GMF advisor today to ask questions and get feedback on your project at an early stage — we’re here to help!
  • Use the Project Scorecard to assess your application against the eligibility criteria — this is what the peer reviewers use when they review your application.
  • Watch the webinar recordings to learn more about GMF funding and eligibility from the advisors.
