Program allows employers acquire interns for clean technology projects

After a very successful inaugural year Clean is once again delivering its professional internship through partnership with Environment and Climate Change Canada’s Science Horizons program.

Are you an employer?

  • Apply NOW to hire a young professional for a 6 to 12 month internship.
  • Internship start date? Anytime between now and March 1st, 2019
  • There is a limited wage subsidy pool, so applying early is the best idea… last year we ended up with a wait list of employers!

What we can do for you:

  • Help you design a job description that matches your project
  • Assist in your application for the subsidy*
  • Recruit a skilled graduate who meets your needs

    * up to a maximum of $15,000 / intern.

Who qualifies?

  • Interns need to be graduates from post-secondary and under the age of 30
  • Jobs need to be STEM and environmentally focused
  • Positions must be 6 to 12 months in length.

Why should you be a host?

  • Access a talent pool that is eager to put into practice their fresh expertise.
  • Obtain funds to hire scientific and technical staff.
  • Develop new capacity and perspective within your company/organization.
  • Talent recruitment: test a future employee, at very low risk to you.
  • Grow Canada’s Clean Growth Economy
