Newfoundland and Labrador Food Forum 2018, May 8, 2018, St. John’s NL

NOTE: This opportunity has expired or is an event which has already taken place.

The Conference Board’s Food Horizon’s Canada (FHC) invites you to join us for our 1st Newfoundland and Labrador Food Forum, a one-day event co-hosted by Memorial University’s Marine Institute to explore the future of the province’s food and seafood sectors, and leverage new opportunities to enhance the province’s food performance, sector sustainability and labour markets.

Food impacts Canadians in an extraordinary range of ways: it affects our lives, our health, our jobs, our economy, and the environment. There is renewed determination to safeguard and sustain the health and profitability of the sector. Producers, manufacturers, shippers, traders, distributors and retailers in Newfoundland and Labrador’s food system are all pivotal to ensuring the quality, healthiness and safety of the food supply. This special event aims to bring together a wide range of stakeholders to discuss food and seafood sector challenges and solutions.
