Master of Arts in Environmental Policy (MAEP): Information Session

NOTE: This opportunity has expired or is an event which has already taken place.

Date: March 10 2016

The Master of Arts in Environmental Policy (MAEP) program at Grenfell Campus is aimed at students wishing to develop expertise regarding contemporary environmental challenges and potential policy alternatives. The goal is to help fill gaps in environmental policy expertise locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. The program includes required and elective courses, completion of a research paper or thesis, and an internship. We receive over 120 applications from around the world each year for this highly successful program and are about to select students for our fifth cohort, which will begin in September 2016. The program is run in conjunction with the Environmental Policy Institute (EPI) at Grenfell Campus, an institute dedicated to excellence in research, teaching and learning, and public engagement on environmental policy issues.

As we move into our fifth year we will be holding an informal session on Thursday March 10 at 9 a.m. in room AS2036 at Grenfell Campus to consult some of our valued government, industry, and community partners on your research and education needs. This will assist us as we select students for the program in the fall and may provide opportunities to match students with project partners. Refreshments will be provided. For more on the MAEP program see http://grenfell-epi.com. If you are not able to attend the discussion next Thursday in person but would like to attend via videoconference, please let us know and that can be arranged. Alternatively, feel free to email or phone us to discuss your environmental policy research needs and/or ideas.

To confirm attendance or if you have questions please contact Marilyn Forward at mforward@grenfell.mun.ca, or 637 6207.
