In 2013, NEIA held the first International Business Development Symposium. The event featured firm-level workshops for businesses entering the international marketplace: exploring how international markets and tools can be used to drive business; the basics of exporting; the Do's and Don'ts of trade shows; international institutions and the opportunities that they can provide; financing options; an introduction to international trade law; and more.
Building on the lessons learned and business explored in the past year, 2014's installment takes a big-picture perspective on international business from experts in the field and those that have done it before.
