The export diagnostic tool provides an excellent assessment of your readiness to export and identifies your company’s strengths and weaknesses. It allows you to recognize aspects of exporting that you may previously have not considered or even been aware of.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Environmental Industry Association (NEIA), in partnership with the Department of Innovation, Business, and Rural Development (IBRD), is accepting expressions of interest for interested firms and individual consultants who want to find out more about exporting and join the Export Support Initiative.

The Export Support Initiative is a free self-assessment tool designed to assist NEIA members who are exporting or who may be interested in exporting in the future. From individual consultants to large firms, all businesses in the environmental sector can avail and benefit.

Through the diagnostic, Export Support Initiative members will receive guidance and support from both IBRD and NEIA in completing the assessment.

Participant Benefits

Export Support Initiative participants will benefit from:

  • Access to dedicated international trade expertise
  • Identification of gaps in existing export strategy or preparations
  • Customized recommendations to address identified gaps
  • Ongoing support during and after participation

This is a network of firms working cooperatively to enhance their international business / export potential, and to accomplish what individual businesses working in isolation are unable to do. Here firms receive additional supports such as training, access to experts, access to market leads and contacts, support and advice from other network members, and notification of incoming and outgoing missions.
