Canadian Mission and Pavilion at ICOE 2012 – Ireland, October 17-19

The Ocean Renewable Energy Group (OREG) is currently putting together the details for a Canadian delegate mission and large pavilion at the ICOE 2012 conference taking place in Dublin, Ireland on October 17 – 19, 2012. Click here for information on ICOE.

The conference has become the largest marine energy sector development conference in the world, with over 750 delegates expected this year. ICOE is focused on the industrial development of renewable marine energy and is held every two years. The goal of the conference and exhibition is to share recent experiences from research and demonstration efforts. It aims to accelerate development by stimulating collaboration networks between companies and research and development centres. It also specifically targets engagement of the experience of operators in related marine and power industry sectors.

OREG’s participation in the event this year will include:

  • A Marine Renewables Canada pavilion showcasing member expertise and providing a place for networking and meetings
  • Formal matchmaking service with international businesses
  • An invite-only breakfast session with opportunities for member profiles and presentations
  • Assistance with possible site visits and meetings before and after the main conference

We are offering members the opportunity to be a part of the pavilion for $500, receiving:

  • Logo placement on the pavilion
  • Display space for promotional materials (ie brochures)
  • Meeting and matchmaking service
  • Use of pavilion for business meetings and networking
  • Invite to Canadian breakfast and profile opportunity
