ACAP Humber Arm, Grenfell Campus (Business and Sustainable Resource Management Programs) and Navigate Entrepreneur Centre are partnering to host a one day event – Business, Innovation and the Green Economy on March 22, 2013 in Corner Brook. We hope you will register to be part of this event.
Business, Innovation and the Green Economy will bring together up to 100 community leaders, innovators and researchers to share, network and, hopefully, lead to some great collaborations. The event will include the following four components, with time built in for networking:
Local researchers will tell you, in 4 minutes or less each, about their interests and opportunities for you to collaborate with them. Already 18 researchers have registered to present in this session!
Five Guest Speakers from across Canada will outline innovative solutions they have implemented to issues like agriculture, food security, green energy and waste management. Could their approach work here?
Department of Innovation, Business and Rural Development Assistant Deputy Minister Mark Ploughman. Mr. Ploughman is ADM responsible for Innovation and Strategic Industries.
Guest Speakers will form a panel to discuss Business, Innovation and the Green Economy. They will take your questions.
The Business, Innovation and the Green Economy event will take place 8:30am – 3:30pm, Friday, March 22nd at the Greenwood Inn and Suite, Corner Brook. Registration is free but as space is limited we encourage you to register early. To register visit: http://www.grenfell.mun.ca/resource/Pages/conference.aspx.
