NOTE: This opportunity has expired or is an event which has already taken place.

Thursday May 25th, 2017
Hotel Gander
Gander, NL, A1V 1P5

You are warmly invited to join the Association for New Canadians (ANC) at our annual Diversity Symposium as we celebrate many years of hosting specialised workshops on diversity, cultural intelligence, and immigration in Newfoundland and Labrador.

“Business Diversity at the Crossroads of the World” will explore various business diversity issues in the Gander area, with a broad cross-section of the local business community expected to attend. The Keynote address will be delivered by Tareq Hadhad, a resettled Syrian refugee in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, and founder and owner of the Peace by Chocolate company.

Between 9 am and 10 am, there will be a Coffee Networking Session in Salon D to welcome Symposium participants, sponsored and hosted by the Newfoundland and Labrador Organization of Women Entrepreneurs (NLOWE). The Symposium will officially begin at 10 am.

The registration fee is $40, which includes a buffet lunch and refreshments served throughout the day. There is limited space available, so please register early to reserve your seat by visiting the ANC’s website at www.ancnl.ca.

The ANC has reserved a block of rooms at the Hotel Gander at a reduced rate for participants who wish to stay overnight before and/or after the Symposium.
